Dr. Roman Izmailov graduated from dental school in Eastern Europe in 1984. After moving to New York City in 1992, Dr. Izmailov attended the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), where he graduated among the top of his class. After graduation, Dr. Izmailov completed his general and implant dentistry residency at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Following his residency, Dr. Izmailov served as a faculty member and Clinical Director at NYUCD.

Committed to giving back to his community, Dr. Izmailov has worked with the community outreach program at Refuah Health Center in Rockland County, New York, and was also the Dental Director at the Monsey Family Medical Center, where he helped coordinate dental care for patients in need. Dr. Izmailov has been chosen as a Top Dentist by Hudson Valley Magazine for several years.

WIth an established practice in Pomona since 2001, Dr. Izmailov continues to expand his skills and dental knowledge by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and more.

An active member of his community, Dr. Izmailov has lived in Rockland County for 25 years and has three children, two of whom are now doctors. His older daughter is a pediatric dentist , his middle daughter is a pediatric psychiatrist, and Dr. Izmailov’s youngest is currently a student in dental school. In his free time, Dr. Izmailov enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and reading.
